Taxonomy and Biology Adult length: 30mm Description Head and body dorsum and flanks varies between mainly yellow with irregular, black lines and spots ( often a running paint appearance ) to mainly black with irregular yellow lines and spots. Arms and legs vary between entirely black, black with yellow flecking or spotting to mainly yellow with black spotting. Head venter and body ventral surface is uniform black. Habitat Lowland tropical rainforest up to an elevation of about 300 metres. Habits Diurnal and terrestrial frog that inhabits the forest floor leaf litter. Prey Feeds mainly on ants, beetles and mites. Poison Activity Poison Type: No information available
