Taxonomy and Biology

Adult length: 17mm

Description

Head dorsum, dorsal surface and flank colour is black with a vertebral and dorsolateral row of rounded, bright yellow ( lemon yellow to golden yellow ) spots extending from the snout to the posterior body and a short, lower lateral, flank row of similar spots on the posterior body. Arms and legs are reticulated whitish to pale blue or pale green with black spotting. Head venter and throat is bright yellow with some black spotting. Ventral body surface is white to pale bluish with black spotting or marbling.

Habitat

Lowland rainforest with one specimen found at an elevation of 1300 metres.

Habits

Diurnal and mainly arboreal frog.
