Comments: (1) An attempt is made to source venoms from all areas where the snakes occur and combine them during immunisation to (hopefully) ensure neutralisation of local variants.
(2) Although some production batches have been tested against venoms of other species, no routine tests are done and no clinical data are available.
(3) Data are available to show that (at least for some) batches stored for up to seven years at +4 deg C remain fully potent and acceptable in appearance.

Courier charges will vary depending on the size of the order and destination. Usually DHL is used. Alternatively the buyer can instruct their own courier to collect from SAVP and pay them locally for transport.
SAVP will respond to an order with a pro-forma invoice including delivery charges. Once the money is transferred to the SAVP bank account, delivery is made expeditiously.
