Taxonomy and Biology Adult length: 25mm Description Dorsal surface colour is reddish, reddish brown or coppery with paler and darker flecking and a broad black vertebral stripe, band or zone and often paler toward the flanks. Upper flank is dark brown to black ( appears as an irregular dorsolateral stripe in some specimens ) anteriorly and often breaking up into small spots or dots towards the hind legs. Lower flanks are reddish or reddish brown suffused with grey or black. Flanks are sharply defined and extend posteriorly from the snout tip, with the upper edge passing through the eye. A reddish blotch is present at the base of the arms with the remainder of the arms, legs, fingers and toes similar to the dorsal surface ground colour. Ventral surface is marbled or mottled black and white. Habitat Subtropical moist forest and woodlands.
