Taxonomy and Biology Adult length: 27mm Description Head dorsum, dorsal body surface and flanks are black with red granules and often a red line from the snout ( continuous around the snout ) to above the eye. A white to greenish stripe commences near the lip margin and extends to the insertion of the arm and onwards to the groin and a white lower lateral stripe or streak commences near midbody and extends to the groin ( sometimes broken into spots ). Arms and legs are blackish brown ( sometimes more reddish on the arms ) with or without orange pigment at the base of the arms and sometimes with a bluish tint on the hind legs. Head venter and throat is mainly black with some white or blue marbling or spotting. Ventral body surface and ventral surface of legs is marbled or mottled white to pale blue and black.
