Taxonomy and Biology

Adult length: 21mm

Description

Colour in life is largely unknown. Head dorsum, body dorsum and flanks are uniform dark brown to black without spotting or striping. Arms and legs are dark brown to black with a small pale ( probably yellow to reddish ) spot at the base of the arms and legs and a pale ( probably yellow to reddish ) spot on the upper ventral surface of the shank. Head venter and throat is dark brown to black. Ventral body surface is marbled dark brown to black and pale

Habitat

Lowland rainforest at an elevation of about 400 metres.

Habits

Diurnal and terrestrial frog.
