Taxonomy and Biology

Adult length: 26mm

Description

Head dorsum, body dorsum and flanks are black with a bright green dorsolateral stripe commencing on the snout ( continuous around the snout ), passing over the eyes and extending posteriorly to the groin and a lower lateral bright green stripe extending from the lip margin to the base of the arm. Arms and legs are black above with greenish pigment on the underside of arms and bluish green to bluish pigment on the underside of hind legs. Head venter and throat is green with the only male specimen having two large black spots on the throat. Ventral body surface is green anteriorly and becoming bluish posteriorly.

Habitat

Lowland rainforest at an elevation between about 350 and 400 metres.
